Courts can only be reserved by on line registration. Members have to register as users by signing up on the club's web site. They may be reserved up to 2 days in advance for a maximum of two hours of play. An individual club member can only reserve two courts for the same time period.
Monday through Thursday evenings, no court reservation may be made that crosses the 5:30 or 7:30 time line. Other times may be reserved at the last minute if the courts are available
On Sunday afternoon, no court reservation can be made that crosses the 1:30, 3:30, or 5:30 time line.
On Saturday morning, no court reservation can be made that crosses the 11:00 time line.
In the event a member must cancel a court reservation , it must be done at least two hours in advance of the starting time to avoid a $5.00 fine.
Junior players under the age of 19, may reserve courts during the afternoon and only at such times that they are off the courts before 5:30. If there are available courts at other times, juniors may use them. If the junior is accompanied by an adult who reserves the court, they may play at any time.
Juniors MAY NOT use the clay courts unless accompanied by an adult who remains responsible for the grooming of that court. Juniors may use the clay court for practice before a clay court tournament, but only with the specific permission of one of the pros. In such case, will be responsible for proper maintenance of the court.
Proper tennis attire must be worn at all times. Shirts and proper tennis shoes with non-marking soles are required. Sports bra may only be worn as a undergarment.
In addition to the above, there are requirements specific to those playing on the clay courts. These requirements are posted at the clay court gates. Failure to follow these requirements will result in a $25.00 fine.
Bayou Bluff has the best clay and hard courts that are available. You can find a club with more courts,
but you won't find one with better courts. So let's take care of them, please!
